The arts need leaders who can dream it, build it, and deliver it. I strive to be all three.My path to this work was never linear — and that's exactly what shaped me. I graduated with Honours from the University of Toronto with a double major in Environment & Resource Management and Drama, then went on to earn a Performing Arts Diploma from the Canadian College of Performing Arts. From the beginning, I was drawn to both the systems that sustain communities and the art that gives them meaning. When I stepped into organizational leadership, I went back to school again — completing a Certificate in Accounting and Finance at Toronto Metropolitan University — because I believe the work deserves leaders who are as rigorous as they are creative.At the core of everything I do is a simple conviction: art is for everyone. Engagement with the arts strengthens mental health, deepens community bonds, and gives people a way to see themselves and each other more fully. That belief is what drives me to BCurrent every day - and why I care as much about who has access to the work as I do about the work itself.Today, as Executive Director of BCurrent, I bring intentionality to every dimension of the role. I manage finances, build operational systems, write and steward grants, and keep a talented team aligned around a shared mission. I continue to invest in my own growth across strategy, entrepreneurship, leadership coaching, and HR, with recent credentials from the York Entrepreneurship Development Institute, Thriving Non-Profits, and UC Davis. Beyond BCurrent, I currently serve as Board Chair of Mural Routes, helping steward another organization committed to public art and community connection.But I'm also a practicing curator and producer. I understand what it takes to move a creative vision from concept to stage to community - and that perspective shapes everything about how I lead and problem-solve.
