About Kira Boyartchuk

Through my BScN and experience as a critical care nurse, I have developed the essential leadership skills to advocate, teach, and stimulate change. I have effective interpersonal communication skills, cross-cultural literacy, and am an active interprofessional collaborator. I completed my MMgmt degree in order to develop business skills and additional lenses through which I can view and understand the healthcare sector from a broader perspective. Through the curriculum I enhanced my strategic thinking, process improvement, change management, and financial analysis skills. By adding these proficiencies to my existing clinical skills, I am keen to contribute to healthcare related organizations with a more robust skill set and analytical capacity. I am passionate about defining and implementing processes, improving business systems, and managing projects. In doing this, it is also important that I uphold my personal values related to social justice. To support my personal and professional development in the workforce, I am dedicated to being a lifelong learner and active teacher in my industry.
