As a Dentist and Public Health Specialist with a strong foundation in environmental health, epidemiology, and infectious disease control, I bring a multi-faceted approach to addressing healthcare challenges. I am currently completing my Master of Public Health (MPH) in Environmental Health with a certificate in Epidemiology from the University of Illinois Springfield, where I maintain a GPA of 3.8. My diverse professional experience spans clinical settings and public health programs, including roles as a Medical Officer and Physician Assistant in India, where I managed patient care for COVID-19, Malaria, and Dengue, and improved healthcare processes. In the U.S, I have contributed to various public health initiatives at the Illinois Department of Public Health (IDPH) and the Minnesota Department of Health (MDH), focusing on HIV/AIDS epidemiology, water policy, and health equity. My experience includes data surveillance, community engagement, and strategic health planning to address health disparities among vulnerable populations. I am passionate about research, with upcoming publications on pediatric health, including Juvenile Idiopathic Arthritis (JIA), asthma, and oral health.
