My role at F.C Walkers as a contracting estimator involves, Analyzing and evaluating construction plans and specifications for accurate estimates for residential and volume building projects using iTWO Costx software. Preparation of cost estimates conforming with Australian Standards as per Gypsum Plasterboard and Thermal Insulation. Liaising and collaborating with clients, construction supervisors, construction managers, and suppliers determining specifications and suggesting alternate cost options as per client’s needs. Generation of accurate bills of quantities for residential, volume builds and renovations. Monitoring on-site variations, amendments, cancellations, and revisions during tendering and construction stages and producing revised quotations in a timely manner. Utilizing Accrivia (Business Management software) for the generation of final reports, inventory monitoring, and creation of work orders and materials orders based on the Quantity take-offs. Assisting site supervisors in producing and coordinating material deliveries to the site on schedule.
