About Kiran Ramamurthy

I am a marketing and communications professional and have worked in both Marketing organisations and Advertising agencies. I have been an integral part of many successful Brand Launch and re-launch efforts: Toyota Qualis, Manhattan Credit Cards, Limca and the launch of Lenovo in India. In my last stint at Ogilvy, I looked after the marketing communication efforts of tech and e-com businesses like Amazon, IBM and Lenovo. At the Global Marketing Hub of Lenovo, I led the development of Global Campaigns and also oversaw Geo Marketing Services. I have been in a Leadership role at the Marketing Hub since its inception and the Hub, in this period, went on to pioneer a centralized marketing model that perhaps has no equivalent today in terms of sheer width and scale of offerings. My other stint in Lenovo was as the Consumer Marketing Manager, when, from a virtual non-entity, Lenovo became a household name in India. In my 9-year stint in advertising, I worked with Leo Burnett and Lowe and handled brands like Toyota, Coca-Cola, Wheel (Unilever), SAB Miller and Standard Chartered Bank. Specialties: 1.
