More than 20 years in clinical social work primarily with children and teens but also significant experience with mentally ill adults. Worked as an advocate for NC Federal Protection and Advocacy and had great success negotiating the needs of individuals as well as supporting systemic change. When an inevitable career change came my way I decided to continue with advocacy pulling on my background in social work and obtained a certificate in health care advocacy from University of Miami and tried to start a business helping others benefits, needed health care, and ensured their safety within our medical systems.I went on to work as an adoption specialist for CHS. Full circle they adopted me to my parents. I did anything complicated and eventually became a consultant for DRNC And now I’m a full time intake advocate
