About Kirit Kiran

Writer. Photographer. Filmmaker. I started out as an Arts & Culture writer with a strong inclination towards photography and theatre. Over the years I found that I had begun engaging more with visual medium than with the written word. I have made features that are of human interest - covered stories (both through moving and still images) that depict change makers - and developmental issues. I have extensive experience in producing and directing documentaries, corporate films and photographic essays. Today, I see myself as a visual storyteller who is able to employ his active imagination and technical prowess to create an evocative product. I am a phone photography enthusiast who believes that the pure volition that gets to be expressed, and exercised, through image-making using a cellphone is fascinating.
