I am currently a Senior Electrical Technician in the corrosion control department within Gas Technical Operations. Certified in NACE basic corrosion and achieved multiple operator qualifications for corrosion technician. Some of my work experience consists of-Install and troubleshoot cathodic protection associated with underground metallic structures -Line locating and mark out of underground facilities and code 753 contractor mark out auditing-Patrolling of the Transmission main to ensure work within tolerance zone is properly reported with contingency -Achieved multiple operator qualifications ie. pipe locating, cadwelding, various coatings, pipe to soil potentials -Maintain departmental databases ie. one-line diagrams, test station locations, and various data collection forms -Proficient in software such as Projectwise, Byers, Gas Extensions Mobile (GEM)-Conduct field inspections to ensure protection and maintenance of underground metallic facilities-Oversee contractor crews during backfill of underground facilities to ensure strict adherence to company specifications -Coordinate with various company personnel, contractors and outside organizations ie. MTA to safely and effectively complete tasks -Conduct job briefings and job site safety exchanges with personnel and minimize safety hazard for local community that the company serves -Respond to company-wide events like storms and outages ie. GOSS ARCOS response and wire guard -Maintain project files and drawings along with daily log of route sheets for time reporting
