Kirk Carl is a Commissioning Engineer with over thirty years experience in the high tech, educational and commercial markets. He specializes in hot water and steam boilers, Biomass, chillers, pneumatics, hydraulics; generators, PLC controls and DDC systems. He is responsible for commissioning, test and balance tasks, facility management, and monitoring, in addition to working in conjunction with the client and our construction department.He provides each project with specialized expertise resulting in both project and client satisfaction. EXPERIENCE Portland Energy Solutions – owner representative during the construction, installation, commissioning and operations of all HVAC/Mechanical/Electrical/Controls and Life Safety system for a ton central cooling plant serving the Pearl District in down town Portland. Fujitsu Microelectrinics- Monitored the installation, start up, and acceptance testing of new systems and equipment during construction of a 1.2 billion-dollar facility. Supported the 150 million-dollar remodeling of an eleven-year-old facility by the removal, hibernation, and modification of online systems, while maintaining all quality parameters and services. Operation and maintenance of pneumatic, hydraulic, hot water and steam boilers; refrigeration; diesel generators, ultra pure water, de-ionization and auxiliary water systems including acid waste neutralization. United States Navy- Operated and performed preventive, corrective, and overhaul maintenance on ship propulsion, pneumatic, hydraulic, refrigeration, diesel generators, auxiliary waste and fresh water systems. Developed and prepared Quality Assurance (QA) documents; implemented and inspected the maintenance performed within parameters of USN QA guidelines.
