My name is Kirk Dye. I am an enthusiastic and experienced sales connector and communicator known for driving superior customer engagement, loyalty, and business results. I am passionate about customer connection. Up to now, my whole life, I have specialized in food & beverage. I have a 40+ year degree in hospitality & now a California Auto Sales License closing nearly $18 million in cars in a short, humble tenure of 3 years. I have shown MYSELF, I have always been in sales. I am a mature, patient, and an educated salesperson and manager. More will be revealed.I learned the chef trade early in my career, opening my first restaurant at 24 years old. I was hooked! I’d found my calling. From there I built two restaurants in Southern California, ran them daily leading a team I hired, trained, developed and worked WITH. I am savvy at payroll, daily Opps and from both sides of the paying point with invoice. From there and to diversify my career journey, I gained additional experience working with a variety of start-ups and established firms in the hospitality & customer service niche.3 years ago, post-Covid, I was on the hunt for a hospitality management job. I received an email from a recruiter and accepted an interview with Polestar at 11:00 am on a Tuesday morning. I Googled Polestar. When asked what questions I had about being selected to interview, I humbly asked, “ why am I here? This is car sales correct?”I was told the restaurant / hospitality industry develops a pedigree of service second to none. Over my 40+ years, I have dealt with possibly every element of sales & service beyond any industry. Creating connections and listening to customers leads to sales. I have been selling my entire life.
