About Kirk Garner

When I started in Operations Management, I was a Partner, co-directing a start-up of custom window blinds, a manufacturer and supplier. I managed a team of 8 staff members, supervising their performance and operations. I was responsible for development of the entire business including staffing and training, implementation of policies and procedures, financial forecasting and budgeting, department programs and marketing strategies. In this role is where I acquired diverse methodologies of running a fast-paced multi-functional business and how to create specified support solutions. I continued my leadership as a Clinic Resource Specialist, managing the Wake Forest OBGYN front office and staff for multiple wellness clinics, providing quality services across multiple sites and assisting in the production of training programs. In addition, I conducted administration of daily accounts receivable for co-pay collections, held full responsibility of recruitment, performance, evaluation, and analytics, and initiated improvement strategies and solution, increasing progressive workflow. Today, I am accountable for the analyzation and execution of combination dispatch of transportation equipment in accordance with the schedules, plans, and operations as a Linehaul Coordinator. I ensure maximized capacity and minimized partial trailer loads and conduct mainline and satellite operations to increase tractor usage and cut cost.
