About Kirk Hemphill

I have over twelve years of experience in various types of laboratories. I have experience in pharmaceutical, oil, and toxicology laboratories which have provided me with the opportunities in learning various types of testing and instrumentation. I have a background in GCMS, LCMS, FTIR, CE, and other types of testing. I currently work at LabCorp in the toxicology department. I review data for positive and negative specimens using immunoassay, LC-MS/MS, and GCMS. I help train new staff and work with people in other departments. At Clinical Reference Laboratory, I had six years of experience in toxicology working with LCMS and GCMS. I have both hands on experience working on the instruments and reviewing data for toxicology drug and alcohol screening. I helped guide and instruct employees throughout the lab on second shift. At Hospira, I was able to perform many types of tests on bulk, final, method validations, and stability drugs, such as Morphine, Demerol, and Vancomycin. I also have some unpaid management experience. My years of working experience and education have given me a good foundation to be a valuable employee.
