Background

About Kirk Kinnear

I am a Principal at GPD Systems LLC, a company that empowers market participants worldwide by offering solutions for physical-delivery futures contracts for commodities transported on large ocean-going vessels. With many years of energy trading experience at industry leading companies, I have established a solid reputation with a proven successful track record, generating over $1 billion in net profits and monetized hedging gains. My current mission is to streamline the global natural gas trading process by applying the #Brentrification model to the LNG marketplace. The GPD system and methods enable commercials and non-commercials alike to seamlessly link standardized LNG forwards, futures, and short-dated swaps to provide a more efficient trading and risk management experience. As a problem solver, innovator, leader, mentor, and resource person for government agencies and institutions of higher education, I am passionate about the "job of the market", and how it impacts global resource allocation and pricing dynamics. As a life-long learner, I am always looking for new opportunities and challenges, and to connect with thought leaders in energy and finance from around the world.
