About Kirk Murad

As an educational leader, I am experienced in establishing goals, strategic resourcing, evaluating teaching and learning, participating with education professionals and ensuring an orderly and supportive environment. I have worked with teachers, students, parents and other school community members to strive for continuous improvement in school climate initiatives, the teacher evaluation process, student summative and formative assessments, and utilizing data to make decisions in the best interests of improving student learning. I have worked with teachers in setting goals to improve teaching and learning, and in developing professional development activities to assist them in achieving their goals. I understand the importance of resource management and maximizing the resources available, and, most importantly, that the safety of students and staff enables them to concentrate on teaching and learning. I am an experienced basketball coach with more than 30 years at the high school, club, college, semi-pro, and national team levels with a proven track record of building winning programs. Certified by FIBA USA and the State of Connecticut, USA.
