About Kirk Short

I’m Kirk Short, a licensed Realtor since 1998 and the founder of The Wichita Home Team at KW Signature Partners. As a U.S. Marine veteran and long-standing Wichita community member, I’ve built my career on the principles of integrity, discipline, and service—whether helping clients buy their first home, sell their lifelong property, or relocate with the military. Under my leadership, The Wichita Home Team has grown into one of Wichita’s most respected real estate groups. We combine cutting-edge marketing, personalized client care, and an unwavering commitment to our clients’ success. I also co-own and operate How It Works Sober Living, where I help provide safe transitional housing and mentorship for men in recovery. I’m proud to have served as the President of the Kansas Aviation Museum (2020–2023) and continue to contribute as a board member. I believe real estate is about more than transactions—it’s about building relationships, empowering others, and contributing to the community.
