About Kirk Williamson

With over 17 years of experience in both military and civilian leadership roles, I bring a unique blend of strategic vision, operational expertise, and a commitment to education. As CEO of JLV Construction, my leadership experience is further strengthened by my logistics expertise in the United States Navy Reserves and my ongoing pursuit of a Ph.D. in International Relations. As the CEO of JLV Construction, I lead a medium-size construction company delivering high-quality projects with a focus on teamwork, consistency, and customer satisfaction. My role involves strategic oversight of the company ensuring that our projects meet the highest standards of excellence. My military career spans over a decade of service in the United States Navy Reserves, where I currently serve as a Lieutenant Commander. My experience includes deployments in Afghanistan, Korea, and the USS Nimitz aircraft carrier, as well as my current leadership role with the Commander Naval Forces Japan. I have been recognized for my dedication and excellence with multiple commendations, including the Joint Service Commendation Medal and numerous Navy/Marine Corps Achievement Medals. Academically, I am deeply invested in understanding global security and diplomacy. I am currently pursuing a Ph.D. in International Relations, building on a solid foundation that includes a Master of Arts in Diplomacy from Norwich University and a Bachelor of Arts in International Affairs with a concentration in Security and Conflict from The George Washington University. This academic journey enhances my leadership capabilities and informs my strategic decision-making in both the business and military sectors.
