Background

About Kirklin Norman

I am an Electrical Engineer with a focus on integrated systems design, robotics, and power distribution. Currently at Campbell & Associates, I navigate the full engineering lifecycle for commercial and residential projects—thorough electrical system modeling in Revit, performing load calculations, and ensuring strict NEC code compliance through multidisciplinary collaboration with architects and contractors. My background bridges the gap between traditional power systems and intelligent automation. I have a proven track record of developing data automation tools in VBA/SQL, designing sensor-based logic in LabVIEW, and implementing signal-processing algorithms with Python/OpenCV. Previously, I served as a Research Assistant in UTC’s Unmanned Systems Lab, focusing on hardware verification and image processing for UAV platforms.I am a hands-on engineer who enjoys solving complex problems, whether it's optimizing building infrastructure through site evaluations or leading student engineering teams to build Arduino-controlled solar trackers. I am committed to engineering excellence and the development of safe, reliable, and efficient electrical infrastructure.
