Background
About Kit Burke
I am a Registered Professional Forester who leads a team of Forest Professionals managing West Fraser's forest licenses in Northeastern BC. I'm focused on improving our mill KPI's from the Woodlands side by ensuring we are delivering the right log to the right mill at the right time and the right price. I work to match what our mill requires with what fiber is available, economical, and accessible. I also own and operate my own sawmill and equipment contracting business focused on land clearing, road building and custom cutting lumber. We provide clients with high quality work, done safely and thoughtfully. We also provide professional forestry services including woodlot plans, and deactivation prescriptions.
