About Kit Yoke Lam

As Global BIM Manager at Danfoss, I lead and manage cross-functional teams and vendors in BIM modelling, coordination, and software development for the mechanical engineering and buildings industry. Over the years, I have built the foundation for BIM at Danfoss. Establishing standards, templates, workflows, and automation, while also developing and implementing a custom Revit plug-in to integrate our product portfolio directly into design workflows. Beyond BIM, I am a data enthusiast with a deep interest in data analysis, data visualisation, and harnessing meaningful data to drive decision-making. I specialise in transforming raw data into actionable insights that improve processes, enhance collaboration, and guide strategic initiatives. I believe data is the foundation of innovation, and I actively explore how AI can transform the way we operate, design, and optimize. My expertise spans BIM software, coordination, CAD, MEP hydronic system design, and project development, supported by a strong background in mechanical engineering (B.Eng, National University of Malaysia), PMP certification, and ISO 19650 accreditation. I am currently completing my MBA (expected end of 2025) to further strengthen my leadership and strategic management capabilities. I bring a unique combination of technical expertise, project management skill, and global collaboration experience, working effectively with consultants, designers, product managers, sales teams, technical specialists, digital business teams, and R&D colleagues worldwide. My ambition is to lead teams in leveraging technology, data, and innovation to build new workflows and processes that ensure long-term usability and sustainability.
