As a society we are only as healthy as our most frail. Director with over 20 years directing multi-million dollar programs to improve health outcomes and reduce the economic and social costs of disease through evidence-based interventions and process improvements. Diverse skills in project management from design to delivery. Issues management on healthcare, cost benefit analysis, and environmental health. My career highlights include- Obtained $5.4M in grants to resolve health inequities in underserved neighborhoods through successful proposal submissions- Secured recurring annual funding of $3M for the New Mexico Department of Health, Border Health Office by testifying before the NM legislature on the health crisis among underserved border populations and submitting a brief outlining proposed funding for initial and ongoing health surveillance and environmental monitoring. Certifications & Education- Certified Project Management Professional (PMP)- Masters of Public Health - Master of Science in Economics When not working, I can be found hiking and bird watching along the Bosque or participating in Special Olympics sports with my husband and son.
