About Kiya Simpson

Educator with a Master’s in Sports Management! I love my students and everyone I have impacted in education, but my true passion lies in managing, organizing, and facilitating operations outside of a school building. With my passion for administration and my love of sports, I decided to mesh the two and begin studying Sports Management. In the meantime, I’m a NCSU alumna with a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education (K-6) and Dual License in Special Education (K-12). I love to help others, ensuring that I am providing services to students and parents at all times with consideration of each person as an individual. I aspire to be the teacher I would’ve love to have as a child, I strive to mentor everyone’s needs, and become a supportive figure to those who may or may not have been blessed with support from others. With this in mind, I would love to gain more experience regarding these things through work, research, and educational opportunities.
