I've mostly worked within customer service, but with a three and a half year break to try working at a pre-school. I found myself in the realm of childcare, where I worked full-time nurturing young minds, simultaneously pursuing a full-time formal education in the field to deepen my understanding and skills. This period taught me the essence of patience, the significance of educational environments, and the art of balancing multiple high-responsibility roles. Driven by a passion for excellent customer service, I transitioned back into the hospitality sector and ended up as a waitress at a vibrant board game bar. Here, I embraced the opportunity to create memorable experiences for customers, blending the joy of play with the satisfaction of top-tier service. My dedication to creating a welcoming atmosphere, keen attention to detail, and natural leadership did not go unnoticed. Within six months, my efforts led to a promotion to Manager, a role where I could further hone my skills in operations, team management, and customer engagement. I continue to leverage my background in childcare to foster an inclusive, engaging environment that appeals to patrons of all ages.
