About Klas Eckervald

Klas Eckervald is a renowned visionary for analytics strategy and architecture of enterprise data management systems through the definition of goals and paths to enable industry leading analytical capabilities. Throughout his career, he has consulted with numerous Global companies in EMEA across many industries. Klas has also defined and deployed a global ecosystem architecture program, including job and service definition, architecture frameworks and patterns, and defined and led the architecture practice in EMEA and APAC. In his current role he acts as the Director Sales Technology for the Teradata Northern Geo (UK, Nordics and Russia) with strong focus on enabling organisations to improve their abilities to get answers to their most demanding analytics needs - at scale. His previous roles include serving Teradata as Ecosystem Architecture Lead of the regional EMEA Architecture team and Lead of the EMEA Cloud Architecture Team; Senior Partner for International (EMEA and APAC) leading the Architecture Consulting Services practice; Enterprise Architect in the EMEA Architecture Innovation CoE; manager of the Solution Architecture team in Nordics; and Solution Architect for numerous clients in Nordics and Switzerland Klas holds a M.Sc. in Computer Science and Engineering from Linköping University, Sweden, and an Executive MBA degree in International Business Management from Uppsala University, Sweden. He has also studied IoT at MIT. Klas has won numerous Teradata Consulting Excellence Awards and in 2004 he received the “Best of the Best” award for the top performer in Teradata EMEA.
