About Klorenta Pashaj

Klorenta Pashaj is Head of National SOC at the National Authority for Electronic Certification and Cyber Security of Albania, where she continuously monitors cyber activity in critical infrastructures in a proactive and reactive manner and responds immediately upon noticing anomalies.She is also a Phd Candidate at the University of Tirana, focusing on cyber risk management.With over nine years of experience in cyber security, she has been involved in various national and international projects and initiatives, such as the NATO-MISP, the OSCE Chairmanship, the FUTURIUM Women4Cyber Register, Chevening Cyber Security Fellowship and the International Visitor Leadership Program. She has also published multiple research papers and articles on cyber security and internet governance topics.As a passionate advocate for women's participation and empowerment in cyber security, she is the President of Women4Cyber Albania, a non-governmental organization that aims to promote, encourage, and support women and girls in the ICT and cyber security sector. She has also facilitated and supported the establishment of other Women4Cyber national chapters in the European level and has delivered numerous public speeches and workshops on cyber security awareness and education.Additionally, she is a guest lecturer at the University of Tirana, where she shares her knowledge and expertise on cyber security risk and policy with students and faculty. She holds a Master of Science degree in Computer and Information Systems Security, and several professional certifications, such as ISO 27001 Lead Auditor.
