About Ko Quaye

Career: Hi there! I'm Kommonyan (Ko) Quaye, currently I serve as the Youth Services Director at Youthlink MN. As a recognized leader in the Twin Cities and beyond, we provide holistic support to youth experiencing homelessness and crisis, ages 16-24. Our innovative, evidence-based services are designed to guide young people towards futures of education, employment, health and wellness, housing stability, and aftercare. With over 45 years of service, Youthlink is currently the largest Drop-in center in the state of Minnesota. We aim to offer a low-barrier, one-stop shop where young people can get their needs assessed and met all within our four walls. Our goal is to create a safe and welcoming space for youth, where they feel seen, heard, and valued. Personal: After retiring from the NFL, I made a conscious decision about the next chapter of my life, so for over a decade, I've served as an advocate for young people navigating extreme challenges. Through my lived experiences and professional experiences, I've developed a diverse set of skills from working with young people in the areas of Educational, Residential, Correctional and Sports. My passion for creating opportunities, access, and resources has afforded me opportunities to lead on and off the field. I'm always looking to partner with organizations who share my vision of creating a world where youth thrive, not just survive.
