About Koby Langley

I am a Division Vice President at the American Red Cross where I am responsible for operational deliverables and strategic vision for the Northeastern United States. With over 20 years of experience in the public and nonprofit sectors, I have a strong background in policy analysis, public policy, volunteer mobilization, strategic planning and communications, and mediation and dispute resolution. My undergraduate degree is from the University of Notre Dame and I also hold a MPA from Georgetown University, a Mediation and Dispute Resolution Certification from Harvard, and a Juris Doctorate from University of Colorado at Boulder. My passion is to provide relief, support, and empowerment to millions of people in need across the world, especially those affected by conflict, disaster, or health emergencies. As a senior leader, I manage a staff of 472 employees and 22,875 volunteers, and oversee a budget of $90M USD. I have also served on numerous non-profit boards. In my previous roles, I led the International Humanitarian Services and the Services to the Armed Forces at American Red Cross, and held senior positions at the White House, the Department of Defense, the Department of Veterans Affairs, and AmeriCorps. I leverage my legal, communication and management skills, as well as my military service, to foster collaboration, innovation, and excellence in humanitarian service delivery to a variety of constituents.
