About Koby Pacheco

Graduate of Texas State University with a Bachelor’s in Exercise and Sports Science with a concentration in Health and Wellness Promotion for Clinical Populations. Graduate from the University of the Incarnate Word SOPT with a Doctorate in Physical Therapy. I have multiple years of experience as an Exercise Physiologist in Cardiac Rehab, prescribing exercise, monitoring vitals (HR, BP, RR), monitoring ECGs for common arrhythmias, and developing and performing exercise protocols for patients with cardiovascular disease and peripheral artery disease. I am currently a licensed Physical Therapist working as the Lead Physical Therapist at Encompass Health Waco. Daily tasks include, overseeing PT staff, treating/ evaluating patients with a variety of diagnosis (neurological, cardiovascular, orthopedic, amputations, etc), communicating with physicians, case managers, nurses, and fellow therapists. Additional tasks include development of HEP, oversight of PTAs and student physical therapists. Additional experience with implementing and developing a Neurovision and Community Outing programs. Proficient with the use of innovative equipment including but not limited to Bioness Integrated Therapy System (BITS), Bioness Vector, and LiteGait.
