About Kodi Hope

As a Therapy Assistant at Alberta Health Services, I provide recreation services for Adult Day Programs in various locations, serving seniors; some with dementia and memory care needs. I have been working in this role for over a year, and I am expected to continue until February 2025. I have more than five years of experience in recreation programming, with a focus on the five dimensions of wellness and intergenerational activities. I have a Bachelor of Tourism Management with a major in Recreation from Vancouver Island University, and I am working towards certification as a Therapeutic Recreation Specialist. My goal is to enhance the quality of life and well-being of seniors through meaningful and engaging recreation programs. I am passionate about working with people of different abilities and creating positive and supportive environments for them.
