I am a patent litigator, qualified both as an attorney at law (‘advocaat’) and as a Dutch and European patent attorney, specializing in bio-organic chemistry, agrochemistry, medical technology and pharmaceuticals. I am a partner at Brinkhof in Amsterdam. My practice is contentious, i.e. opposition and litigation work. I represent clients before the Dutch courts, the Unified Patent Court (UPC) and the European Patent Office (EPO). The high stakes in this field motivate me to deliver top quality work, each and every time. I am also a tutor for CEIPI in Strasbourg in France, training candidates for the legal part of the examination to qualify as a European Patent Attorney.
