Background
About Koen Dereu
since my childhood I'm fascinated by electronics, bought my first oscilloscope at the age of 14. Studied at the VTI diksmuide for electrician followed by graduate school KHBO (Oostende) where I succesfully graduated as "Gegradueerde in de electronica". RF technology is one of my key interests, experimented a few years as radio amateur with FM television, builded a few TV transmitters and receivers. Installing analog TV and digital microwave links became my job for 6 years when I worked for the telecom company Belgacom in Brussels. Designing is still more interesting then installing to me, so I changed job to become RF engineer at Unitron Group in Poperinge, where I designed Power supplies, AV circuits and RF circuits for consumer products. Fell in love with a sweet Singaporean Lady and moved to Singapore where I work now as consultant for Unitron Group who has a cooperation with the China based company Polecoz. Polecoz is designing and manufacturing RF circuits, I'm in charge of the Unitron Group designs assigned to Polecoz.
