About Koen Dries

After years of building, curating, and scaling brands at the intersection of design, architecture, and innovation, I’ve stepped into a new chapter — one that makes space for fresh ideas, entrepreneurship, collaborations, and purposeful creation. In 2017, I co-founded Portapivot, a brand that quickly earned its place in the world of high-end architectural hardware. From launch to international growth, I had the privilege of leading its evolution into a respected name in interior design — culminating in its acquisition by the Theuma Group in 2020. I officially stepped down as Managing Director in June 2025, following a strategic divergence in vision. Prior to that, I was closely involved in our family business, Anyway Doors, a pioneer in contemporary interior door design since 1995. It’s where I first learned the value of building something with both longevity and soul — balancing aesthetics, engineering, and customer experience. What connects all of this? A passion for thoughtful design and brand building with intent. Whether it’s shaping creative direction, rethinking systems, or spotting latent potential — I thrive in the scaling phases of a brand’s journey. As a freelance CMO, I help Eosol sharpen its positioning and accelerate growth by: defining brand and go-to-market strategy in a competitive B2B landscape. Developing content and storytelling that highlight product innovation and premium design. Supporting sales enablement and dealer marketing to strengthen distribution. Aligning strategy, brand, and execution for sustainable market expansion. Eosol is a Belgian, family owned manufacturer of innovative aluminium solutions for windows, façades, and outdoor living. Its product range includes fly screens, sun screens, glass sliding, pivot and folding walls, pergolas, façade cladding, as well as custom sheet- and metal work. This role combines my experience in premium product branding with a passion for helping SMEs scale through clear strategy and practical execution.
