Experience Includes: Founded RegalPay® (Regal Software) in 2008 and led the company from inception in 'bootstrap' mode to become a leading provider of innovative payment technology. Developed strategic partnerships with several large financial institutions, including American Express, Wells Fargo Bank, JP Morgan, MasterCard, Corpay (Comdata) and Fifth Third Bank, resulting in widespread adoption of RegalPay's solutions. Led the product-centric vision, driving the development and delivery of cutting-edge payment technologies that transformed the industry. Successfully guided the organization through major milestones, including navigating challenging business climates, managing customer closures, and leading the company through the uncertainties brought by the Covid pandemic. Orchestrated multiple acquisition interests and due diligence exercises with prominent private equity firms, resulting in the acquisition of RegalPay by Great Hill Partners backed MineralTree, and subsequently by Global Payments. Built and nurtured cross-functional teams across three countries, fostering a culture of resilience, growth and innovation. He served previously as Vice President of the Microsoft division of VSS and Engagement Manager at ePartners. He had a career in corporate accounting before switching to the Technology industry. Passions include autism awareness, soccer,(Go Chelsea FC), Football and hiking. Kofi is an avid pilot with an FAA instrument rating and is also certified on technologically advanced and high-performance aircraft. On the weekends he’s a Command Pilot with Angel Flight, transporting children from outlying areas to facilities in Atlanta for medical treatment.
