Background
About Kohitij Kar
The functioning of the human brain, especially the human visual system fascinates me. During my doctoral thesis, I had the opportunity to work with the visual system of both humans and macaques. This provided me ample instances to appreciate the complexity and computational power of the primate visual system. I secretly wish neuroscience works more in a product based mode where there are real tangible goals and progress towards them - rather than interesting theories and a handful of toy data to support it.
