About Koichi Hamada

As a senior staff research engineer for Artificial Intelligence, I have developed a broad range of mobile and online services utilizing AI, such as games, gaming platforms, and entertainment content platforms. I have created dozens of machine learning systems for hundreds of millions of users and accelerated the growth of services. For example, I have developed dozens of machine learning systems for the social gaming platform ‘Mobage’, where over 51 million registered users create 3.5 billion behavior records every day. I have also created a wide range of recognition and generation methods in machine learning, computer vision, and natural language processing for services with diverse data, such as actions, social graphs, images, videos, and documents. The community features over 1,500 registered participants with over 60 organized meet-ups. I have a Ph.D. in Theoretical Physics (Statistical Field Theory) from the University of Tokyo.
