About Koji Fukui
I was born in Gifu Prefecture, Japan. I was moved in Tokyo at 1993 to learn at Shibaura Institute of Technology. In master's course, I belonged to biological science laboratory. I have continuing to study the relationship between oxidative damage and brain aging. In order to improvement of oxidative damage, I have focusing on antioxidant defense system. Specifically, I am interested in vitamin E. Recently, I am using tocotrienols in research. Some of reports have shown that vitamin E is a good therapeutic substance against neurodegenerative disorders. My final goal is to clarify the mechanism of brain aging and neurodegenerative disorders.
