About Koki Mukai

With RPEQ, I have over eight years experience working on highly complex civil construction projects valued up to $500 million as an electrical project engineer. With Masters of Engineering, I possess a combination of formal training and hands-on experience which enables me to effectively plan, schedule and coordinate works in line with project requirements. As a competent team leader on large infrastructure projects, I have experience coordinating subcontractors, materials, machinery and plant engagement to ensure each project stage is efficiently completed on time and on budget. By engaging in ongoing technology development, I also have remained at the forefront of my field, evidenced through my utilisation of various Information Technology (IT), Artificial Intelligence (AI), Internet of Things (IoT) and processes to automate systems, which resulted in measurable improvements in productivity. I am a detail-oriented professional who has conducted thorough on-site quality inspections on a continuous basis to ensure that all works are compliant. Any identified issues are immediately brought to the attention of a construction manager and plans implemented to have issues rectified in a timely manner so that project deliverables are not impacted. Safety focused, I have excellent skills in developing, implementing and monitoring comprehensive procedures and policies to ensure the safety of team members and contractors. As a result, I always maintain a high level of safety on-site despite constant movement of large numbers of people and heavy machinery in hazardous environments.
