About Komal Oza
I am a Cognitive Behavioural Therapist and I am doing my Doctorate in Clinical Psychology. I have previously worked as a senior psychological wellbeing practitioner (PWP); working with individuals with complex needs from a diverse range of backgrounds. I have experience of delivery psychological interventions, using principles of CBT, DBT and mindfulness. I have previous experience of carrying out assessments and interventions in the criminal justice system, forensic inpatient units, forensic community mental health teams and drug and alcohol services. I have a keen interest in working with trauma, with minoritised communities and with individuals with long-term conditions and am passionate about incorporating social justice into my work.
