A post graduate in Garment Manufacturing Technology from NIFT and a MBA from School of Inspired Leadership with 18 years of experience in the field of sourcing, merchandising, operations and marketing. In my last job I worked at social entrepreneurship start up in the area of providing learning platform to the ESL markets in India, Accountable for defining target market and opportunity mapping, conceptualizing and executing launches and hand holding at customers end. While in the 18 years spent in garment industry I had the chance of working with a bouquet of designers Gap, Zara, Ann Taylor and ready to wear domestic and foreign brands Target, Tommy Hilfiger, Tommy Bahama, George (Walmart-ASDA) UCB, Lacoste’, G-Star, CGG, JC PENNY, SHOPPERS STOP, EBONY, Scotch & Soda in global set-ups. To internalize the business framework I started my work from the shop floor in areas of quality and manufacturing and moved on to merchandising. My last assignment was of managing a small factory which was a part of Richa Global Exports. My key strengths lie in sourcing business development, client engagement and managing operations keeping overall cost effectiveness in mind. Understanding intricacy of product development and logistical operations in a global environment are my forte. I look forward to opportunities to leverage my prior experience and inclined to continue my learning journey in the domain of Sourcing, Product Development, Merchandising and Operations. Specialties: Being gregarious in nature hence a highly dynamic and social person. The combined strengths of high abstract reasoning and idea orientation make me competitive in taking strategic decisions, creating new concepts and approaches to improve performances innovatively. With an assertive approach packed with right amount of aggressiveness gives me leverage to coach, motivate and lead a team.
