Background

About Konner Kiesel

I am a passionate educator and performer committed to fostering equity, innovation, and collaboration in diverse learning environments. After earning my degree from Midland University in Fremont, NE, I’ve spent the past year teaching at EF New York in Tarrytown. In this role, I taught English Language Learning, Music, and even Math and Science. I worked with over 690 students from 44 countries, ranging in age from 12 to 74. My teaching emphasizes cultural exchange, creative engagement, and inclusive practices that honor the global perspectives of my students. This fall, I’ll be continuing my teaching journey at Gimnasio Los Caobos in Bogotá, Colombia, where I’ll be working for the next two years. I’m eager to further expand my impact through international education and arts integration, as well as, immerse myself in a new culture and language. Looking ahead, I’m exploring master’s programs in Music Education and/or TESOL to deepen my practice and continue growing as both an artist and educator before diving into the American Public School System.
