About Konrad Zimmer

As a leader with over 15 years' experience in management of the technical and production departments, I was working and supporting the companies to develop new processes and lines, improve the processes, run the greenfield sites, maintain the machines. Strongly focused on the improvements though the indicators and the real data. My way of working is the common sense approach applied to the continuous improvement, analytical and very logical approach based on data and figures. A quick verification based on GEMBA approach, KAIZEN attitude and strong cross-functional team work with the mutual understanding all the aspects (people, operations, technical etc) are the foundations of my daily work. As the industrial manager with my team, we developed new production processes and new lines. I build the process and capacity strategy. Together with INDUSTRY 4.0 we automatized the existing lines generated DL savings. As the production manager, I lead daily production activities pararelly driving the process and quality improvements. The scrap decreasing, OEE improvements and teamwork gained my daily job. As the maintenance manager, I supported the production activities, improving the lines and deploying TPM mindset. Today I merged all these functions driving the plant management among all the same problems with a very demanding market.
