About Konstantin Malafeev
PhD in Biophysics. My PhD thesis is devoted to biocomposite fibers based on PLA with bioactive properties such as antibacterial properties or electrical conductivity for biomedical application. I have started this work in my third year at university in 2013 and gradually I had been moving from research of processing modes for melt spinning of fibers based on PLA to investigation of physic-mechanical properties and time of biodegradation in vivo of biocomposite fibers based on PLA. I am interested in handwork with extruders and am into finding regularities between modes of processing samples and their properties. Moreover, I have experience in teaching. I give practice classes on melt spinning every autumn.
