About Konstantina Katsela

I’m a city logistics and urban freight transportation scholar with a Ph.D. in "Business Model for Viable City Logistics Initiatives" by LTH, Lund University. In addition to city logistics, urban freight transportation, business models, business model canvas, and business cases related to urban freight, I also specialize in automating the delivery process of urban freight and e-commerce. Several of my articles have been published in academic journals and conference proceedings. Additionally I have presented my work at numerous academic conferences for which I have received commendations. Furthermore, I am a reviewer for a number of academic journals for which Elsevier has awarded me the title of exceptional reviewer. I have a high performance as a lecturer in different courses such as Introduction to Supply Chain, Operations Management, Packaging Logistics, Packaging Technology, Development and Food and Packaging Innovation, City Logistics and Urban Freight Transport, Supply Chain Innovation and Governance, Hack MOBI: “Eutopia Hackathon in sustainable transportation” and Logistics and Retail Management. My teaching tools and methods resulted in high student motivation and engagement. Thanks to my experiences, I have excellent organisation/leadership and communication skills. I am capable of leading projects and initiatives within tight deadlines. To me communication is essential to be successful and I have been fortunate to interact with people both internally and externally over the years, as well as with people from different cultures. My experiences have also equipped me with the right mindset and tools to find solutions for demanding situations and to collaborate with various stakeholders. It's a real pleasure for me to work on improving processes and starting something from scratch. Consequently, I thrive in environments where I can improve processes and find new ways to do things. During years of working with several projects I have come to realise that brainstorming and creating a vision energises and excites me. I am also an award winning Fine Artist with a demonstrated history in the fine art industry, consisting of long or short term galleries representations (with Agora Gallery and Saatsi to be the most important ones), participations in numerous art fairs and forums, social media and media coverage, as well as numerous solo and group exhibitions in Europe, North America and Asia and numerous nominations to global art awards.
