WHAT I DO: I help Washington-based beer retailers to broaden their offering of unique craft brews by providing unique and fully-developed craft beer and merchandise lines. I help talented restaurant staff, managers, administrative staff, and brewery employees to grow their careers through a fun work environment with great development opportunities. HOW I DO IT: I am the Operations Manager for Diamond Knot Craft Brewing with over a decade of restaurant management experience and many more years in the hospitality business. I oversee operations of The Brewery & Alehouse, The Brewpub @MLT, our Taproom, and our merchandise program, including our online store. My responsibilities include financial planning and results, staffing and leading the management teams, training, site alignment, and execution. I’m also an Executive on our Leadership Team, which works together on brand development and management, finance, strategy, growth, and scaling. My role is that of a Director of Operations, where I work closely with our administrative staff and program manager. We are also a production brewery offering draft and packaged beer products, and we would love to be your preferred beer supplier! WHAT MAKES ME DIFFERENT: I started in the restaurant business as a dishwasher in my teenage years and worked my way through kitchens and the front of house, so I bring a broad perspective to restaurant operations, team management, and the customer experience.
