Currently, I work for the Minnesota Department of Health as the Health Equity Strategist for both the Health Promotion and Chronic Disease Division and the Division of Injury Prevention and Mental Health. As a part of this brand new team, I work to institutionalize equity into all the work that is being done by staff in the Health Promotion and Chronic Disease division. My knowledge is based upon my lived experiences, education, and prior roles at Bluestone Physician Services and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
