About Kotaro Abe

After graduating the University of Tsukuba with Bachelor of International studies, I joined Mitsubishi Corporation, which is the largest international multi-business company that develops and operates across industry including industrial finance, energy, metals, machinery, chemicals and living essentials-In Mitsubishi Corporation, I have 9 years of global experience in development of accounting operations, budget controlling, implementation of tax planning and risk management in trading and investing businesses, especially in the automotive industry- From 2016, I started to study in HEC Paris as the candidate of MBA, pursuing further development of international management skill and leadership skill- After graduated from HEC Paris in Dec 2017, I started to work for Mitsubishi Corporation as in-house M&A advisor- From Apr 2022, I transferred to Mitsubishi Corporation (Americas) as AGM of Financial Management and Advisory / Head of Structured Finance and M&A - From Apr 2024, I promoted to Mitsubishi Corporation (Americas) as GM of Investment Management Department. In addition, I also concurrently appointed as GM of Credit Department/ AGM of Treasury Department. Further, I relocated from New York Office to the Houston Branch office- From Jun 2025, I transferred to Mitsubishi Corporation as Deputy GM of Audit & Supervisory Committee office supporting the Audit & Supervisory Committee in executing its oversight functions by coordinating internal audits, preparing meeting materials, managing reporting processes, and facilitating communication between the committee and internal/external stakeholders.
