I am an experienced senior IT consultant as SQL Database Administrator with over a decade of experience & a strong domain expertise in SQL Server administration and cloud technologies. My journey in the database realm has been a fascinating one, as I've had the opportunity to work with a diverse range of technologies, including SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL, & cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure and Google Cloud. Throughout my career, I have played a pivotal role in setting up robust database infrastructures & implementing high availability features, including Failover Clustering, Always On, Mirroring, and Log Shipping. Migrating on-premises SQL Server databases to cloud-based solutions like Azure SQL Database & Azure SQL Managed Instance has been one of my core areas of focus, enabling organizations to leverage the benefits of the cloud. I am a Microsoft Certified Professional with expertise in MS SQL Server. In the cloud realm, I have built & configured Azure SQL Databases and Azure Virtual Machines, effectively managing virtual machines, storage accounts, and resource groups on Microsoft Azure. I have also been involved in the exciting world of Google Cloud, where I have built servers and successfully migrated databases from on-premises to Google Cloud, leveraging the power of Jenkins CI/CD pipelines to spin up servers using JSON code. Additionally, I have a strong background in designing and configuring Always On High Availability setups for SQL Server, ensuring seamless data access and minimizing downtime. My expertise in implementing Backup, Restore, and Recovery Plans for critical production databases has contributed to maintaining data integrity and business continuity.
