Background
About Kotie Smit
Experienced professional with several years of experience across web and backend (api) testing. My skills range from automation frameworks to CI/CD and everything in between, I'm always on the lookout for something new to learn and challenge my abilities to grow and improve. I'm passionate about learning new technologies and finding ways to integrate them to solve problems. My favourite tools are Postman, behave BDD, pytest to name a few. In my current position I have build the QA function from the ground up, from our own framework up to integrating it into our CI build pipeline and Jira instance. My favourite pastime is to tinker with electronics, woodworking and taking stuff apart as to learn more of their inner workings and if it failed, why and how it failed.
