Koussay Okko traveled the world and have lived in many countries which has granted him the ability to adapt and relate to other people and situations with great ease and cultivated his personality. He holds a Bachelors degree in Journalism and a Doctorate 3rd cycle (the equivalent of a degree between a masters and PhD in the USA) in Political Science – International Relations. This has given Mr. Okko the ability to understand business on an intimate level and the ability to negotiate extremely well. Mr. Okko‘s educational background paved the way for successful real estate investments. Mr. Okko started investing in real estate in the mid 1980’s where he began purchasing and “flipping” single family homes in Newport Beach, CA. He then began purchasing apartment units which were self- managed and then sold for a profit. During this time, Mr. Okko also started investing in bay/ocean front property in Southern California. Mr. Okko purchased his first shopping center in which had a total of 38 tenants. With high expectations on success, Mr. Okko hired a professional management company to oversee the daily operations and a well known leasing company to increase occupancy with quality commercial tenants. This location, the best management and leasing company and Mr. Okko’s high involvement, made this shopping center well sought after and attracted well known companies. Mr. Okko then started investing in the lucrative market in Nevada, purchasing apartment complexes and a shopping center. His portfolio of business is highly successful regardless of market conditions. He continues to renovate and provide communities which residents can be proud to live in.
