About Kremena Toshev

I invest in early-stage technology companies at SNÖ Ventures, working closely with founders to build scalable businesses with global potential. My background spans entrepreneurship, venture capital, business development, and ecosystem building — bringing a commercially minded, operationally driven perspective to investments. My startup career began at biotech startup Water Lens in Houston, TX. Before SNÖ, I served on the investment team at Agera Venture after several years with Oslotech (Oslo Science Park's managing company). At Oslotech, I gained substantial management experience leading innovation infrastructure projects and building both digital and physical communities. I built and led Cutting Edge, Norway's largest science and technology festival, scaling it from 300 to 1,500+ attendees across 15+ countries in just two years. The event became an Oslo Innovation Week flagship, drawing global media attention and even hosting a Guinness World Record! This work reinforced my passion for building ecosystems that drive collaboration, visibility, and tangible business outcomes. At SNÖ, I focus on identifying exceptional founders with Nordic ties and supporting them through key early stages of growth and financing. I am a firm believer in the Nordic region's ability to birth the next generation of exceptional startups. I also head SNÖ's tech stack and productivity systems — designing processes and structures that support scale, both within the firm and across our portfolio. I am curious about applied technologies across a broad range of sectors, and especially at the intersection of frontier innovation and planetary impact. I'm frequently invited to speak or contribute as a panelist on topics including venture capital, the future of work, and entrepreneurial learning. What energizes me most is working alongside ambitious teams to help bring transformative technologies and bold ideas to life.
