About Kreseda Smith
I am a Rural Criminologist with over a decade of experience in how crime affects rural and farming communities. I am a Senior Lecturer in Rural Criminology and Social Sciences at Harper Adams University; Director, Rural Resilience Research Group (3RG); Chair, European Rural Criminology Working Group, European Society of Criminology; Executive member, ISSRC, Research Associate, Centre for Rural Criminology, une.edu.au. I regularly review for internationally recognised peer-reviewed journals on topics related to rural crime, agricultural crime, farm crime prevention, farmer decision-making, and the impact of rural crime. All my work provides a Trusted voice in support of rural communities, presents Real-World examples of the impact of rural crime, explores the Behaviour of victims and offenders, examines Crime Impact (economic, social, psychological), and critically evaluates Policy providing key judgements relating to rural crime.
